WHY IS ZEITCRIMES DIFFERENT?
Because crime is never random.
It reflects the fractures of its time.
ZEITCRIMES studies those fractures.
True Crime With Context:
Historical Analysis
I examine the era — wars, elections, civil unrest, economic shifts — to understand how environment shapes violence.
Sociological Insight
I explore how communities react to crime, how fear spreads, and how institutions respond.
Political Consequences
From policing reforms to surveillance expansion, we analyze how crime influences power structures.
ZEITCRIMES is where true crime meets historical scholarship.
ZEITCRIMES is a true crime podcast with an audience in places such as YouTube, Soundcloud, Spotify, etc, dedicated to examining crimes that altered society in some way . In effect, the crimes "entered the zeit," to the point that the crime itself became part of the shared American consciousness.
While traditional true crime podcast shows often focus on mystery and spectacle, ZEITCRIMES investigates the broader forces at work — political instability, cultural conflict, institutional weakness, and media influence, however minor the crime might have been.
My purpose is to explore the intersection of crime, history, society and power.
Each episode includes:Â
- Archival research
- Historical Context
- Sociological analysis
- Political ramifications
- Long term societal consequences
